2016 has been a horrible year for rock and pop music

So now we can add George Michael to the list of huge stars who passed away this year. He was certainly too young and I think there can be no two opinions on the fact that he was a great singer. Personally, I'm more saddened by the death of Rick Parfitt from Status Quo, one of the best live bands ever and a huge part of rock 'n' roll history. I've seen Quo twice live and Rick always was the rhythm machine.
