Interesting to ponder some of the things on the statistics page here: www.setlist.fm/stats/tears-for-fears-63d6ba37.htmlOf course, the archive is far from complete, so things are skewed towards the more recent shows (which are better documented). But because of the Head Over Heels / Broken medley sometimes played instead of Head Over Heels on its own, EWTRTW is shown as the most often played song - if you add the plays of HOH and HOH/Broken, you end up with 457, and therefore Head Over Heels is probably TFF's most played song ever. These are currently the Top 15: - Head over Heels
- Everybody Wants to Rule the World
- Shout
- Mad World
- Sowing the Seeds of Love
- Pale Shelter
- Change
- Break It Down Again
- Woman in Chains
- Secret World
- Memories Fade
- Badman's Song
- Advice for the Young at Heart
- Everybody Loves a Happy Ending
- Creep (Radiohead cover)

Don’t they play Mad World at every show too? They must have played it widely when they toured SFTBC globally because they didn’t have a big back catalogue to choose from (and Radiohead hadn’t written Creep). I expect they have played it at every show since the Gary Jules cover. Since it’s earlier that Head Over Heels, it could be the actual most played. Might be missed from the records on setlist.com if some audiences are not familiar with it or did they not play it everywhere during their reunion era?

Can’t imagine how it would sound sung by him.

Roland didn't play it on the 90s tours. Ah yes. Can’t imagine how it would sound sung by him. I'd like to hear him sing it, though. I mean, he wrote it and must've at least sung it to Curt. He did say it didn't sound good coming from his mouth, but his voice matured since then (he did sing EWTRTW on those 90s tours) and if Curt can go ahead and do STSOL, why not Roland singing Mad World at least once?

Yes, I doubt it would be bad. Roland is an amazing singer. Might not have the same vulnerability.
