Nave & The Ghost Collectors (NOR) Recording from 21.5.2022 at the Bluesfest Eutin At the microphone: Tim Schauen
It's a very unique mixture of music: long song structures, slow tempos, a frontman who tells more than he sings, and plays the harmonica with electronic effects. In short: the sound of the Norwegian band Nave & The Ghost Collectors doesn't have too much to do with blues; but this band between indie and rock is exciting nonetheless. In 2019, the band around singer and harp player Nave Pundik won the Norwegian Blues Cup, has subsequently been on tour in Europe. The performance in Eutin was one of the first for the quartet after almost two years of Corona break. But Nave Pundik, drummer Lars H. Rosvoll, guitarist Eric Rolland and bassist Stian Brungot have been a band team for years: It didn't seem rusty - but idiosyncratic. And that is not a flaw.
The cover happens about 33 minutes into the program.
