Favourite TFF Album: Songs from the Big Chair

Hi! I was really quite absent in the forum. I've been pretty busy lately, but that didn't stop me from hearing the latest news I'm really elated with this latest release from the guys. And one of the things that fills me the most with happiness is that a final version of "Please Be Happy" comes out (although someone say that this time Curt will be the main voice of the song). This song captivated me from that demo that Roland uploaded to SoundCloud in April 2017. It even makes me happy that the version of Stay that will be released with the album will be different than that of the Greatest Hits (based on Curt's comments in interviews). Regards!

Hi elbuhin , welcome back! I did not hear that about "Please Be Happy". Do you have a link where this is stated? Edit: We now have track lengths for all songs!

Hi! If you mean the rumor that Curt sings "Please Be Happy", they mentioned it in a Facebook group (I attach links to the posts where the topic was touched, although I think you need to be a member to see it, and a screenshot). This person appears to have had contact with Julian (Roland's brother). www.facebook.com/groups/694387837271059/permalink/4619168751459595/www.facebook.com/groups/694387837271059/permalink/4616659215043882/If you're looking for the link to the song uploaded to SoundCloud by Roland, I'm afraid it's no longer available. However, it is still available on YouTube (uploaded by one person, nothing official from the band). Otherwise, I have also downloaded the song directly from SoundCloud when it was available. I even made an image for the mp3 with the same typography from The Hurting album. I don't know how long ago it was removed, but it did occur to me to go looking for it at the time they released "The Tipping Point", because somehow I always thought that maybe there would be a chance that it would be included on the album. Seeing that it was removed from SoundCloud increased my hope and then when they shared the track list I almost burst with joy. Best Regards!

Thanks for that. Like you, I downloaded "Please Be Happy", although I grabbed it from YouTube.
I'm not on Facebook (also, Julian blocked me on Twitter, which feels odd, because he and I have the same name, but I was tired of seeing his nonsense on my feed unchallenged and called him out), so I appreciate you sharing this.
However, Darren's second comment is verbatim what Curt said about "Stay", so I'm confused if he was really talking about the right song.

Yes, I also thought that Darren was talking about Stay, but in another post, specifically the other link I sent in the previous post: And a screenshot, also: He takes it for granted that the song would be sung by Curt this time. It's all so strange ... I guess until someone very close to them confirms it, or even someone like Paul Sinclair, I think the best thing is to wait for the launch. Anyway, either of the two guys that sings I think they would do a great job. I would only give the original song a somewhat more elaborate ending and a little more production (don't remove that magic trumpet please!). But it fulfills the "atmosphere" that the single "The Tipping Point" showed us very well. While the inclusion of Stay didn't make me so happy at first, this is the perfect opportunity to give it more production and enhancements. It's hard for me to imagine how the version of Rule The World would fit on this album, otherwise. Best Regards!

As our own wonderful heartphonix has posted on the Steve Hoffman forums, the writers are now known. I'll append them to the opening post.

Is that the correct link? Tells me about Mo Farah. Lol. I hate websites where you scroll down a bit too much and then the link in the address bar changes. I'll fix my post, thank you very much.

Jules, can you verify whether a digital download is included with a ticket purchase, and if so, when the estimated date is that they'll send the download link?

Jules , can you verify whether a digital download is included with a ticket purchase, and if so, when the estimated date is that they'll send the download link? Unfortunately, I have no way of verifying this at the moment. I asked some fellow fans on the Steve Hoffman forums but nobody could answer the question either. If it's actually true, I guess you won't get a link until around the album's release date.
