Best known for her work with David Bowie, she played with TFF on the Elemental tour and on the album "Raoul and the Kings of Spain". In this video you can see that she didn't only play bass live, but also sang Oleta Adams' parts: A comment from below: I shared this to Gail Ann Dorsey FB page. would like to share with you her reaction . Gail Ann Dorsey - " OMG!! I have been looking for some footage from this tour for years!!! Where the hell did you find this?! ...One of the best bands I have ever had the pleasure of being a part of, and one the most valuable musical experiences of my life thus far. Roland Orzabal is a genius, and I love him with all my heart... Thank you for posting this... I am in tears (no pun intended)..."

She’s amazing. I didn’t remember her name. I wasn’t following the group at all closely at that point. Do we know how Roland found her? She’s filling two roles there - Curt and Oleta (bass and singing).

I actually don't know! She's quite famous in the music scene. Even David Gilmour considered her for his last tour but I can't envisage her singing "Run Like Hell" in Guy Pratt's spot, good as she is However, looking at her Wikipedia article, I was alerted to this - a song co-written with Roland! "Whether You Are the One" from her solo album "I Used to Be..." This duly went on to my "TFF relatives" playlist. (If anyone has suggestions for additions, tell me!)
