This is the only other non-TFF album that Roland (co-)produced. It's worth having not only for the two songs he contributed (written with the late great Alan Griffiths), but some of Emiliana's own stuff is pretty good too. The best song on the album might be "Telepathy"... dark and dramatic, and you can clearly hear Roland's influence, only that it's a young woman singing over the programmed beat.
On the downside... Some of the songs and lyrics I'm not so crazy about ("Dead Things", "Unemployed in Summertime", "Tuna Fish"), and the whole thing is rather short, plus mastered quite loudly.
Still, I don't regret buying the CD after seeing it so many times in my retailer and fighting with myself if I'd really want to buy an album by the artist that has given us the annoying "Jungle Drum" some years later. Good on her for finally having a hit, not so good that it had do be such a ridiculous one!
by the way: Does anybody think that "Baby Blue" (one of the two Orzabal/Griffiths songs) has some similarities to the Marillion song "One Fine Day"?!

Here's a live show from the era:
Considering how this music seems to have been constructed in the studio, her band does a good job of translating it to the live stage. And her stage persona is endearing. "I'm a thief" and "Feel free to wiggle your bum" :-)
Setlist:
0:00 Wednesday's Child 3:53 Easy 7:15 Band introduction 7:48 Baby Blue 12:02 10 to 20 15:23 Unemployed in Summertime 19:17 Dead Things 23:11 Telepathy 27:29 Come Out 31:57 If You Go Away (Ne me quitte pas)
