I have my ticket for Colorado Springs. I'm tempted to grab one for Red Rocks, too, which is just 70 miles away. However, Red Rocks in October could be downright cold and possibly snowy, so I'm holding off. I'll try to snag a last-minute ticket somewhere if it looks like the weather is going to cooperate.

Saw the Colorado Springs show last night. It was great! Here's what I wrote in a discussion at SHF: Based on previous live recordings I've heard (like the dreadful "Secret World" French CD), and based on the fact that Colorado Springs is very conservative and low-key, I did not have high hopes for this concert. When I showed up and the lobby was half full of grey hairs, I started to despair. I'm 44 and I felt like one of the younger fans (aside from people who brought their school age kids!). But I was wrong! The band had a ton of energy. Roland and Curt were funny and charming and the performances were top notch. I've never been much of a Curt fan but he truly rocked the bass guitar. And once the lights went down the crowd transformed from middle agers into an army of giddy teenagers. Everyone was on their feet the whole time. It was fun. Definitely the standard greatest hits setlist, though, the only exceptions being "Memories Fade" and "Badman's Song." But "Badman's Song" was just flat-out amazing. I also liked the rockier versions of songs from "The Hurting." And they did do "Creep," but nothing from the EP. So all in all it was an excellent show. I even hung out with a few other nerdy fans outside the venue afterwards hoping for a selfie with the guys. In the end all we got was a fleeting glimpse of Roland as he was whisked into a van further down the street. I'm having trouble embedding it, but here's a quick and dirty iPhone clip of "Break it Down Again" www.facebook.com/don.morgan.399/videos/10210712299589788/?l=4755175925012877512

Great to hear you enjoyed it and yes, Secret World really doesn't work well as an advertisement for TFF concerts!

Erm... okay??? (I think "Step By Step" is absolutely dreadful, but "Tonight" at least sounds like a Paul McCartney song... not a GOOD one, mind, but still...)
