Thanks for posting this article. I'm not sure how I'd feel about a 'clubby' record either, except that he says that someone he played it to described it as their most clubby record. That doesn't mean it actually is clubby. And with 'modern electronics' which Listen, Pharoahs, Tears Roll Down etc, used in their day. So I don't think we should be too quick to judge.

I love the tracks you mentioned but the combination of the words 'uptempo' and 'clubby'/'electronic' doesn't excite me as much as the general prospect of a new TFF album. Personally, I didn't like "My Girls" from the covers EP at all and that is a song that fits the description. I'll keep an open ear but I'll try to adjust my expectations because it doesn't sound like we'll get something that sounds very organic.
