Can someone make a list of which songs were sung by Curt, and which by Roland, for the albums which featured both ("The Hurting", "Songs From The Big Chair", "Sowing The Seeds Of Love", "Saturnine Martial & Lunatic", "Everybody Loves A Happy Ending"), and any other songs which featured both?
I'm bad with figuring out who sung which song for any band that uses more than one main singer.

Thank you. What does the term A-Side mean when referring to the cassette and CD era (not the vinyl era)? Does it mean it's a bonus track on the remastered version of the album, years later? Can you also do any songs that were not already included above from "Saturnine Martial & Lunatic"?

Can you also do any songs that were not already included above from "Saturnine Martial & Lunatic"? A-Side means non-album singles (I don't count compilations as albums). And those are from the vinyl era... The only "regular" cassette that had bonus tracks back in the day was the limited edition of SFTBC, and those tracks are the first six bonus tracks of the 2014 remaster. And yes, they were generally included on the remastered or deluxe editions - but not always, since "My Life in the Suicide Ranks" was not included on the 1999 remaster of "The Seeds of Love" (but will probably be part of the upcoming box set). In the case of "The Conflict", "We are Broken" and "The Way You Are" there is some confusion about what albums they belong to, hence my mentioning them twice. The songs from "Saturnine Martial & Lunatic" I didn't mention are either instrumentals ("The Marauders", "Empire Building", "The Big Chair", "Pharaohs") or b-sides from the "Elemental" era ("Lord of Karma", "Deja-Vu & The Sins of Science", "Bloodletting Go", "Schrödinger's Cat", "New Star" - they will also be on the coming deluxe edition, according to my sources), hence all Roland.

Thanks.
What's a famous non Tears for Fears example of an A-Side?

Deluxe edition of what?

I think I understand. Thanks. What's a famous non Tears for Fears example of an A-Side? The Beatles had a lot of non-album singles - this was actually the UK standard back in the 60s: don't put a single that's already been out on an album again! That's why "Penny Lane" and "Strawberry Fields Forever" didn't end up on Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. "Paperback Writer" (and its b-side "Rain") dates from the Revolver era but wasn't on the album. This rule was broken by the end of their career though with tracks from Abbey Road and Let It Be released as singles. All of Pink Floyd's early singles were originally non-album tracks as well, though as with Beatles albums, the US releases changed some of that a bit. Status Quo also sometimes released standalone singles between LPs. As with TFF, they later ended up as bonus tracks on the appropriate reissues. Can't think of any more at the moment to be honest, but I'm sure there's lots more. With TFF it's interesting because they tend to conceive albums as a whole, so standalone tracks are a bit of an oddity. A-Side means non-album singles (I don't count compilations as albums). And those are from the vinyl era... The only "regular" cassette that had bonus tracks back in the day was the limited edition of SFTBC, and those tracks are the first six bonus tracks of the 2014 remaster. Deluxe edition of what? Of Elemental, since they're from the Elemental era singles (vinyl and/or CD singles). The 2CD edition was already supposed to come out a while ago, but it's been postponed. (I think I have to put the singles into the discography thread...)
