I've only watched bits of this video but Roland sounds stronger here than in London. And that wah-wah solo is ultra cool!!

C'mon, please behave... You got to call it as you see it! However I guess if I am to be on the dismissive / critical side then I should explain why. So, there are six performers on stage and if you assess each individual performance you could not describe any of them as approaching brilliance. If you then go back and watch / listen again to assess the collective performance it probably gets worse. I got interested around the 7 min mark where they started to hit a good groove only to end it within 20 secs They should have capitalised on that groove and had a good jam for, say, 1 minute or so. Yes they liven it up again a bit after 9 mins but are then guilty of spoiling good music with poor vocals.

First off, opinions are opinions and while you're always welcome to disagree, simply putting down another member's opinion because you "call it as you see it" (don't we all do that?) is not OK. Secondly, I haven't watched the entire video because I didn't have the time for it but what I did see/hear sounded very good to me. Unlike what I've heard from the London concert or what I know from the Paris 2005 gig. So I'm certainly not guilty of looking at TFF with rose-coloured glasses. Question for you: What do you think about the performance of the same song that I posted in the Knebworth thread? I can't count how many times I've listened to / looked at it and the more often I heard it the more I thought "This has got to be the best musical performance I've ever heard". Because, if you dislike that as well, then it's nothing to do with the performance - but the composition. And TFF are not a band that makes up their songs on the spot, even if "Badman's Song" leaves some room for improvised bits.

OK, so Carina doesn't have the timbre that Oleta has (but who has?) and Roland seems to concentrate on playing the guitar in the final chorus. But hey, if that's all there is to criticize...

Well, if you choose to pick out individuals for criticism that is up to you. You will however note that I did not
