Starting with a familiar name... Andrew Creswell Davis came from the Bath music scene and had been in Stackridge and The Korgis ("the other band from Bath", produced by David Lord) before joining Tears for Fears' live band. He was often on stage with TFF in the 80s but curiously is absent from most of their studio recordings. The only two songs where he can be heard are "The Working Hour" and "Head over Heels" - he plays grand piano on both songs. He was more involved live and played on the 1982/1983 tours as well as on the Seeds tour 1989/1990. Back then TFF always had two keyboard players on stage: Ian Stanley & Andy Davis on the first tours, Ian Stanley & Nicky Holland on the Big Chair tour and Oleta Adams & Andy Davis on the Seeds tour.
He also toured with Julian Cope (ex-Teardrop Explodes), Bill Nelson and Goldfrapp (one half of which is William Gregory, with whom Andy had already shared the stage in 89/90) and released two solo albums. The second one, "Emergency Love", was just released 2016.
