First of all, I introduce myself!
I am elbuhin, a fan from the land of Roland's granpa... Argentina! The first time that I heard TFF was several years ago, with EWTRTW from a 80's music compilation of my parents. One day, this song was spinning in my head for several days more. Since then, little by little I discovered that other singles I had heard before (like Shout, STSOL, WIC) were also from them. And they finished fascinated me. It was crazy, his music was in several moments of my life without knowing them yet.
Well, having said all this, I go to the main topic.
When last year they were going to be on tour, the same tour that they canceled a few days before it started with "doctor's orders", I was very anxious to see how the new singles sounded live.
This year, when they resumed the tour they canceled last year, I was also waiting to see how the new songs sounded. But finally on this tour they are not playing either. In its place we have a melodic version of "Suffer The Children", which I do not dislike, but I expected some other version, something like what they are doing with "Memories Fade".
Do you have any idea why they do not play "I Love But I'm Lost" and "Stay" live?
I'm also hearing that Roland's voice lately is getting less and less strong. It is understandable that the years come for everyone, but nevertheless Curt's voice is fairly well preserved. I think the loss of Roland's wife had a lot to do with him and his health, even.
P.D: the song "Please Be Happy" seems to me simply a masterpiece. What a pity that Roland has left it as something personal and not for the band, has a good sound that could be "dramatic" as I have seen them say in an interview when they asked them how is the sound of the new album.
Greetings!
